My wife and I flew with Mike to Prince William Sound and had a fabulous time! In addition to the beauty of Alaska, Mike described many interesting tidbits about Alaska, as only a native Alaskan can do. The landing on a lake for a break was fun! Nothing quite measures up to landing a floatplane on a remote body of water. The salmon were spawning, adding to to thrill,of being the only humans for miles & miles. If you enjoy boating & flying....do it. Lake Hood is a wonderful take-off and landing zone...what a view! How anyone gives them below a 5 is beyond me. Very nice pilots and professional staff. My wife was very nervous about a float plane but the pilot went out of his way to keep her as comfortable as possible. She ended up loving every second. The scenery is great and the pilots are very knowledgeable. It was great!!! I saw the bears eat the fish. I saw the birds eat what the bears didn't. The only suggestion is let everyone know to bring large bottle of water. If there is any way possible include two bottles of water with lunch. Kyle went above and beyond to help me. He went back to camp brought the waters from lunch box and came back to next to the falls. That was two miles round-trip. Then I drank three waters. Mine, my husband's, and Kyle's. He was Awesome!!! Great place to fly to your fishing spot or lodge. I am a professional pilot and I was very impressed by the professionalism of my pilots and the operation. Special thanks to Henry my pilot. Great job and fabulous landing. Phenomenal experience. Our pilot was exceptional and a great guide as well. We felt very safe.
