I have worked with Bill Beck for a couple decades now and he never fails to impress me with his skill and ingenuity. In addition to being a really good guy, he is truly creative about coming up with travel solutions that both save me money and add to my comfort. Even though I could easily go online and book my own travel, I continue to use Bill because , I am confident, he has saved me far more money than his fees over the years, and comes up with ideas that I wouldn't think of. Alaska Travel Source provided an absolutely fantastic trip for us. Their attention to detail and follow thru was amazing. We will definitely use them again, and I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. first class service!!! Bill Beck at Alaska Travel Source was great on the phone, but I don't think he took notes. He'd regularly send information to the wrong e-mails and call the wrong people. This caused all sorts of problems and scheduling issues. I think he lied about a booking as well. He told me he couldn't book a dinner because it was too soon, but I called and booked the same day. I would never use Alaska Travel Source again, because Bill is an owner and you can't go over him to get your issues resolved. I spoke to Kelly Jo at Alaska Travel Source after another travel agent never followed up with me on on a trip we wanted to take to Alaska.. This trip was for a special occasion and it was very important to me and my family that everything be perfect. Kelly Jo took the time to described the different areas and asked the right questions so she was able to pinpoint the places and excursions that hit all our check boxes for this trip. Her experience really showed in the very detailed itinerary she sent that even included suggestions of where to stop along the way for lunch or to take in the sights. Kelly Jo was very easy to work with and we will be making future trip plans with her. . The service is fast and responsive, and I feel like I saved money because this group knows what they are doing. They can book mileage tickets beautifully also ! What a gift!
