This place is great. Got there at opening and only had to wait about ten minutes to be seen. They were very thorough and friendly. I will definitely go back next time I need to be seen and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a walk in clinic. The wait was a little long but the care was good. The Doctor took time to explain everything (probably why it takes awhile lol) I'll go back if I need to. I thought every urgent care place was the same until I came here. I had my infant son with me, and he started crying while I was filling out paperwork. The nurse washed her hands, came out from the back, and asked if she could help. She rocked my son to sleep while I finished paperwork. I have no words for how wonderful that experience was. They got me in promptly, but they must have pretty high standards for wait times because they apologized profusely for the wait. I barely even waited! The doctor was friendly and attentive, answered all my questions, and didn't talk over my head. The lady at the front counter was still working out my copay with the insurance company (they take Tricare!) so she told me they would just mail a bill for the copay. She, also, was friendly and accommodating above and beyond my expectations. THEN I got a call a couple days later, following up on my condition and the service they provided. I have never gotten a follow up call from a clinic before. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and each and every staff member they have. Absolutely superb service! I'm sitting in a patient Room, about twenty minutes, listening to the conversations the staff are having. Wasting time and very chatty about non work related topics. Meanwhile there is a ton people in the waiting room outside. I had to leave originally and come back because the wait time was 1.5 Hrs to be seen. I feel bad for people who need urgent care I was so worried about going to a walk in clinic because i wanted the doctor I see to actually hear what i'm saying. I've searched all over Eagle river for a family doctor that takes medicaid and couldn't find any accepting new patients right now. My only option was to go to a walk in clinic. I found Heart of eagle river. I'm so glad I did! I saw, I think her name was Christina? She was amazing! and understood my symptoms and my Auto-immune disease more then the specialists I see! The rest of the staff i saw were awesome too! It was a really calm experience and I will definitely go back and recommend them!
