Dr. Frost has operated on both my knees. One surgery was after a ski injury. The other was a "mystery" problem that he ultimately figured out. I particularly appreciated that Dr. Frost was not quick to operate on my "mystery" knee problem until we had tried other, less invasive strategies. I had excellent results after both surgeries and am very thankful. I am back hiking, skiing, biking, etc. Recently I had a small issue, likely from over training, that because of my prior problems concerned me. Dr. Frost was out of town, but the always very cordial and efficient staff got me in to see PA Don Smith right away. Again, excellent results and a thoughtful and clear discussion with me. I can recommend this office without hesitation. I went to visit Dr. Frost for a torn ACL and meniscus after being referred by a friend. I will say that I first went to a large, well advertised orthopedic group which I feel lacked the personal touch and sense of caring that I was looking for. Dr. Frost was extremely thorough with his examination and up front with my options, providing me a realistic timeline on recovery. Dr. Frost's staff were all Aces, extremely helpful before and after surgery exemplifying a genuine level of care for their patients that I don't see in many clinics today. If your looking for a skilled surgeon to work on your knees, you have to look no further. The proof will come after surgery with reduced pain and faster recovery times since Dr. Frost knows knees inside and out. I would also like to note that my physical therapist stated " I can always tell when Dr. Frost performed the surgery" for reasons I noted above. Google should be embarrassed they don't have a SIXTH Star to reflect just how AWESOME Dr. Frost is! I'm a credible reference for anyone considering Dr. Frost for ANYTHING to do with knees; I've had both knees done - one in 1997 and one in 2007 and I'm about to have another torn meniscus repaired soon in 2017. Dr. Frost is not only a talented specialist, he brings a genuine care and concern to his patients and his practice that goes well beyond the operating table and extends many years past the date of the procedure. I am honored to have the privilege of being able to recommend Dr. Frost to anyone needing help with their knees. I went to Dr. Frost for a second opinion regarding issues I have been having with my knee. My first opinion was that major knee surgery was needed and it would take 8-12 months for recovery. Dr. Frost suggested major knee surgery wasn't necessary at this point and a simple knee scope procedure would do the trick. He was absolutely correct. After minor knee surgery I was back at work the next day, no crutches, and very little pain. I walked out of surgery and within 2 months I was running again. Now, a full year after surgery, I am back to 90% (which is good given that I was told recovery would be about 75% healthy). He stands by his moto that surgery is the last resort. Also, Dr. Frost was not a in network doctor, so him and his office covered all additional costs (meaning that I paid what I would have if he was in-network). I would recommend him to anyone. In the past 6 years I had 3 ACL grafts, all done by Dr. Frost. I have no complaints whatsoever. The quality of care is very high. I also like the fact that I was never pressure to get surgery, it was always my call. His staff is very competent and friendly. I highly recommend to go see Dr. Frost if you have any problems with your knee.
