Dr. McClendon was recommended both by my primary care doctor and another doctor. He takes the time to sit and talk with you and it doesn't feel like his hand is always on the doorknob, which has been my experience with some other gastroenterologists in Anchorage. The web portal for questions is also very convenient with his practice. Great doctor, he really listens
