Staff and location are great. Exceptionally clean rooms. The Hotel does show it's age a little; but you can tell that there have been upgrades which help a lot. There's always a couple Taxi's parked just outside the hotel and most restaurants and night life are within walking distance. The hotel has a restaurant. At first glance it seemed a bit high; but after going to one of the local steak shops I realized it's on par price wise with others in the area. Beautiful place and the nicest people I ever met in my life. Had a quick stop in Anchorage Sheraton Hotel for one night when my husband and I went to Alaska to enjoy our honeymoon. Can't thank them enough as they made us feel like we were home. :) We definitely recommend anyone to go there and we will be back in the near future. My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and the whole staff made our experience wonderful! They went ABOVE & BEYOND to make our anniversary that much better. They even wrote us a hand written note and had chocolate covered strawberries in our room! We will definitely be staying again!! Stayed here for 4 days on a business trip. There wasn't anything earth shattering awesome, but I have no complaints. Bed was comfortable, shower had good pressure, everything was clean. Staff was friendly. Had a couple good meals in the bar. I would stay again if I need to. Staff is friendly! Room is nice and spacious! Unfortunately I had no water pressure in the mornings, so bad I couldn't even flush the toilet. Freezing showers in the mornings, can barely even get the water pressure up enough to come out of the shower head. Apparently it's only in the mornings, someone came up to look at it and said there were no issues. Just take showers at nights if you stay here.
