Overall the hotel itself is clean with a nice layout and the perfect location. Unfortunately, i WILL NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone. The staff is not trained to handle things under pressure like maintenance and getting locked out of rooms. The manager also has an "i dont care attitude" he/she did not bother to help or come to the hotel when needed. After getting locked out of our room for over 9 hours and not able to get back in (because of the battery dying) we were told that we were outta luck and pretty much had to find another place to stay. After expressing my feelings about it, they put us in a temporary room. Because of this, i missed a very important meeting and a lot of $$. I travel about 40 weeks a year. This hotel was nearly $200.00 a night with taxes. I have NEVER had a more disgusting experience with a hotel in my life. There was nothing that said this hotel was an "extended stay". I spent 12 nights there, for a total of about $2,000.00. My room was cleaned ONCE during my stay; on the 9th day! Other than that I had to cart my towels from the third floor to the first floor to get new ones. They had small bars of soap, and small bottles of shampoo, etc. They are the sizes for a room that is cleaned daily. I had to go ask for them at the desk nearly daily. The laundry room smelled horrible, and the vending machines were not well stocked. The attitude and customer service is the worst I've ever seen. I asked to have the manager call me 3 times; but that never happened. The worst part was the horrible bed. It was so soft and mushy that it had no support. I've been home a little over 2 weeks now, and my back is so bad from this experience I've hardly been able to work. This is the WORST bed I've ever slept on! I also had some family members come to Alaska for 6 nights of my trip. They stayed in a separate room, and paid almost $1,000.00 for their stay. Their experience was identical. This hotel is a FRAUD and shouldn't even be in business. It is the WORST place I've ever stayed! Will not return for another horrible rip off experience. DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE! The staff were kind of our of site mostly. It was quiet. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom Rooms are clean, bed was comfortable, there is free internet & printer connected desktops, and otherwise decent place to stay. Reason this is 3 stars: there are no "do not disturb" signs so you will be woken up, the coined operated laundry machines are $2.00 per load for both washer & dryer (so $4.00 to wash one set of clothing), and the walls are thin in a few places so highest floor rooms are recommended. In grand scheme of things, having been on the road for a month, this is still a decent place to stay. A beautiful place. The bed was firm, the room had a kitchenette, the bathroom was really nice. I would stay there again.
