I was pleasantly surprised with the Ramada Anchorage. It is an older motel, but I enjoyed a good night's sleep. I appreciated that it had air conditioning in the room since some Alaska hotels don't. In addition, wall art was Alaskan themed which was nice. The staff was also friendly and helpful. People are the greatest, made us as family. The restaurant has the best food I've ever ate.the day time manager went above and beyond her duties to make me feel like a friend. I'm going to miss her greatly. Thank her for me. Very friendly and easy to work with staff. Close to the city center. Within walking distance of all the downtown attractions. Room was comfortable, staff was very accommodating. However, no continental breakfast but a restaurant is next door and others in short walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller. Clean and nice awesome restraunt in downtown and owner was super friendly amd cool. Will come back!
