Very disappointed for a Microtel. The beds are not comfortable. The rugs are dirty. The room phone doesn't work. Can use an upgrade. The room looked updated compared to most places I have stayed in the anchorage area. Easy on/off from the highway. Near stores and restaurants. Affordable clean hotel. Some bagels, muffins, coffee and juice for breakfast. Rooms are small as suggested by the name. Bathroom was sparse but clean. Great location and great price. Stayed here on the way back from Denali. Hot (in Alaska!), musky, and drab. This was the last hotel we stayed in on a three-week cross-continental trip, and it was easily the worst. Just drive on to Anchorage and find a better hotel. Very accommodating, let us check in extremely early. It wasn't quite ready when we arrived in the early morning, but they offered to call us as soon as the room was cleaned.
