If you have kids, make sure they know! One of the lodges is strictly no one under 18 years old. This is so that the pilots can get their 8 hours of sleep for their jobs. Now, if you have kids, the apartment you get is awesome! There's a living room with pull out sofa, kitchen and a bedroom with bathroom. We enjoyed our time there. It was convenient to be able to eat home cooked meals. The laundry facilities were an added bonus. This is definitely the best/cheapest place to stay while in Anchorage if you are able. Thoroughly impressed with the lodging for the price. We were able to have a 2 room suite with a bedroom and living room that had a pull-down couch... basically 2 living spaces with a shared bathroom between. I recommend calling day of if you need a place. We called a few days before and they had no availability, but that changed for the two nights we needed to stay. This place is fantastic. My stay is a short term stay for one night, but it's a brilliant room with two separate sections. One section is the bedroom with a small sink and mini fridge, the other has a couch and pull down bed on that couch (think it's a Murphy bed?). Both have TVs, both have sinks and are linked through a door between then and the bathroom has two doors to be accessed through both rooms. The internet is filtered, so don't think that you're going to have unfettered internet access. They also block the port that games consoles use for multiplayer so you're not gaming unless it's single player. Great place to visit, I dunno about going TAD/TDY here. Great place nice and quiet rooms with friendly staff oh and fast WiFi. Would stay here again. Nice lodging. My only complaint is that the showers are small and dark.
