I stayed here both times that I was in Anchorage and I loved it both times. The lobby is cozy and there is a fireplace. They have coffee available all day and the free breakfast is fantastic. There is a large stuffed bear in the lobby along with some artifacts from around Alaska. It is, as the name suggest, quite comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone. It is only a 5 minute drive to the airport so it is great for your first or last night in town when you know that you will be coming or going to the airport because they also have a great airport shuttle service. They also have a nice indoor pool and hot tub. We've stayed at this hotel before, we love the over all experience we receive each time and the convenience to the airport using the 24 hour shuttle service. The room was very clean and enjoy using the couch in our room. Our room did have a strong musty smell, but once opening the window, it was a little better. My husband said the bed was good, but felt it was a little hard for my liking. (and it could have been the soft beds we were on during our trip that I got used to). Austin, TX Really good overall. Very nice room. Good bed. Needs softer tissues (I had a cold!) and the bathroom fan is loud! Breakfast was awesome. They had every breakfast item you could think of. But the hot tub was closed one night and then the entire pool room which was a disappointment. Our shuttle driver was absolutely awesome. He provided is lots of good information on what you see, where to visit, etc. Room was large, I believe they were recently remodeled. We didn't make our last flight, so at midnight your staff picked us up & delivered us to the comfort of your beautiful motel. The staff was top notch, giving us a late check out & additional quiet time in the lobby before returning to the airport. Thanks So VERY MUCH.
