I have been taking my boyfriend's truck to this dealership for 7 years and have always received excellent customer service from the maintenance department. They make oil changes super easy and I would 100% recommend them. However, I just purchased my first vehicle from the sales team and I would not recommend based on this experience. After I decided to purchase the vehicle, the customer service fell to the wayside. The vehicle I was buying was just purchased by the dealership 2 days prior and had not been cleaned yet, the salesman said they should have it ready for me by end of day the following Monday and I could give him a call. When I did, he seemed to have forgotten who I was. When I picked up the vehicle, it wasn't very clean. They filled the large chip, but it was poorly done. There's maybe 10 micro chips all over the windshield, which a month later, have started to crack. There were also problems with the latch for the seats, which I figured they would have caught during inspection. Lastly, I found that the vehicle was listed $1,000 cheaper online than what I paid. Even though the buying experience lacked, I will continue coming here because the service side is outstanding and, overall, I am very happy with my vehicle. I had a great experience. I took my truck in to be serviced and my mechanic KC Tomlin was awesome! He explained everything to me in a language that i could understand. I definitely recommend going to see him. He's been a mechanic for a very long time and knows his stuff. These guys were really good. From sales to service, best service I’ve had so far. I have worked with 4 dealerships that I actually purchased and will return to south Chevrolet for the next. Offers shuttle service even for oil change. Very attentive Super service, super people, absolutely the best dealer service department I've ever used. Got my truck in and the work completed before I could make myself comfortable in their customer waiting area. Absolutely a pleasure doing business with Chevrolet of South Anchorage. Was in and out quickly with no hassle whatsoever. Waiting area is always clean, and really appreciate that there is coffee and water available for customers. Will definitely be back!
