I went to four bike shops in town looking to score a new bike. These guys were awesome - very chill, but also had a lot to say about the bike when I asked. Two months after the purchase, I just did an initial service checkup today. The bike was properly tuned and adjusted, each detail take care of. Everyone there obviously loves talking bikes, but they're not like in "sales" mode all the time. Especially the guy named Timely - quality dude right there. I hope that whatever is wrong with his busted leg gets better soon... but his scooter is probably carbon fiber. A+ would buy again. After our RV refused to serve in Alaska, we decided to continue our North and South America trip by bike. We had no idea about traveling by bicycle and were perfectly advised at the Trek Store in Anchorage. The whole team, and Stephen in particular, did everything they could to get us off to a good start in our cycling journey. Can recommend Trek Store in Anchorage to anyone and would go there anytime. They offer bike rentals and I was able to take a test ride before committing to a purchase. Once my decision was made, I started with a Precision Fit. Andy was great during the fitting; it was worth every minute and every penny. Bike technology has changed a lot since I last purchased a bike, many years ago. Both Timely and Katie have very patiently answered ALL of my questions. Follow up service has been amazing. The entire staff at Trek is always very generous with their time and expertise. Thank you. Bought a new mountain bike here after some research on line. Mike was beyond helpful answering all of my questions and explaining how everything worked. Prices are reasonable and I'm always happy to support a locally owned shop.
