Donated for a bicycle that was taken off the rack with a flat tire I said we should fix it, they said they would never have a bike on display with a bad tire so they just added air A week later I was adding air again Then I noticed the Dearlier was not set up correctly, as it clicked all the time On my way back to have that resolved it threw the chain. I donated some more money and they were good enough to help me fix my chain Then tire wouldn’t hold air so I had to bring it back again the following week to resolve a flat tire that was flat when I got it. Nice lady helped me Then I was on a trail being chased by a moose and the chain broke. I brought it back and I asked if I could donate the difference and try something else they said no I just left the bike there They claim they are a bike shop “for the people by the people” so to speak, and they claim their bikes are safe and they go through them. it was not true for me If you are a bike mechanic this might be a good idea. if you just want to get back into riding a bike.... I’d save your money go buy somewhere else Make it a great t a great day! jg We are new to the world of bicycle repair but the guys here were so helpful and made sure we did the repairs, they just diagnosed the issue. I'm so happy a place like this exists in Anchorage! They get pretty busy when they first open so beware. Great place! Guys not only fixed my bike, but also gave some tips on how to repair it myself. And it was cheep - only 5$ per hour for their assistance. Can't beat the service nor the prices! great place. wish they were open more hours!
