The staff at Bering Sea are always prompt, courteous and most importantly... they take excellent care of my pup! Thank you, Bering Sea VCA. If I could give it 0 stars I would. This vet charged me 230 to say my 6 pound chihuahua was fine. I later found out he had ate a 3 ounce pure dark chocolate bar and had chocolate poisoning. They did "labs" and said everything was fine. HE HAD CHOCOLATE POISONING YET SHE COULDN'T EVEN TELL ME THAT OR KNOW. WHAT DID I PAY 230 FOR ? We received wonderful and compassionate care during our visit. The staff went the extra mile to make us comfortable while we made the choice to let our beloved dog go. I am so thankful we ended up in this clinic; it made that day just a little easier knowing they truly understood how hard it was to make that decision. We are looking forward to the exceptional care we know our remaining dog will continue to receive. Thank you again for everything. Very disappointed with the service received and will definitely not be going back with our 2 dogs nor recommend this facility to anyone (and this is the first time I've ever felt the need to write a review). Our cat was dying with cancer and needed to be put to sleep. I called several local vets to get prices and such. I decided to go with this facility since I was able to walk in without an appointment and the staff I spoke with sounded very polite. This was our first family pet we had to say goodbye to, and I was impressed with how sympathetic they seemed and how well they explained the process and what to expect. Even though they quoted me double what two local vets quoted me, those reasons led me to choose them. Fast forward 1.5 weeks and the bill is received. It is $45 higher than quoted. I spoke with a couple staff members, including the office manager who quoted me. Of course I was told they did not quote that price. I know what price I was given and had everything written down. What a difference in attitude and everything from the staff when speaking with them on the phone prior, the day we took our cat in, and then now! Unfortunately they lost a potential client as we were needing to find a local vet for our 2 dogs. I highly recommend Bering Sea vet for your animal needs. All of our pets have been seen here. When it was time for one our dogs to pass on, Bering Sea was great. They ensured we had a comfortable and peaceful send off for our dog. Prices are also very reasonable.
