I took my puppy in with a terrible ear infection. I have never reviewed a place before, but this has to have been one of my worst experiences with customer service. The doctor was literally doing stretches in front of me while completely ignoring my dog. I had to spend one whole hour listening to him ramble about everything excpept my animal. Finally I got to leave and he opened several containers of product almost requiring me to pay for them. I went to pay for God knows what and asked once again if the doctor could at least peak at my dogs ears. He looked, said it was nothing and goodby. I took my dog to another vet and she was extremely concerned. Gave me some medicine and it cleared up in a week. My experience was terrible. I wish I could get a refund for completely wasting my time. The staff also seems afraid of the vet. We have always been impressed with the quality of care and service provided to our horses along with the quick and caring response we receive from Dr. Julie. We appreciate the care she provides. Always receive excellent support from the clinic staff and front desk personnel. She is incredibly rude and should not be the face of this business. Her attitude is deplorable and I hope the owners keep a close eye on her as she said that an issue with my dog was probably fine and if it doesn't bother the dog then it's probably no big deal. She was unwilling to help me get him looked at and suggested that I leave him there all day just to see if he might be seen. Hell no. When asked for a referral of someone who might be able to see the dog sooner, got nothing but attitude and she sniped that she didn't know other doctors schedules. If this is the kind of service humans get, how the hell are the animals treated? I work in medical and I would lose my job if I was self diagnosing patients without them being seen and would be setting myself up for a law suit. My family will no longer be using this business for the care of our animals due to this girl and the outrageous costs for even the simplest visits. Dr. Grohs and his staff do amazing work. My American Bull Dog has had routine check up and vaccines as well as been put under for dental and surgery. While a little pricey Dr. Grohs is highly knowledgeable and takes great care of the animals They go the extra mile furrrrrr-sure! Great staff and doctors make me willing to drive out from Anchorage, even with a sick pup!
