I've used lots of vets in lots of states and absolutely no one compares to Dr. Scott Rapp at Cornerstone. He is very detailed in his care and extremely compassionate and concerned. His love of animals is clear yet he is exceedingly skilled and knowledgeable. This is the best combination for a vet. I've referred friends in other parts of Alaska to him and they've been so impressed that they continue to come to Anchorage just to see him. Front desk staff is also good. Plus they offer a military discount! Super place. I recently adopted an 8 month old rescue from the AK Bully Rescue, and she had to have her left rear leg amputated. They performed the surgery and did an AMAZING job. I have had family dogs my whole life, but never one of my own. I cannot express how incredibly grateful I am for their entire staff from the vet himself to the front desk gals. I am a "worry wart", and they take my numerous calls of questions or concerns with grace, patience, kindness and confidence in their knowledge of the matter. The vet is one of the kindest vets I have come across, and he really listens to what I have to say which is HUGE. The tech always comforts me and gives me advice about little things she notices about my pup. The front desk girls are always happy to see us, and seem to know a lot about pet care and what is normal versus what is not. They are quick and efficient, and go out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. Prices have been fair thus far granted we have not had any emergencies or anything, and for that I am more than thankful. I can't brag enough about them! They truly are a great veterinary clinic that has you and your pets best interests in mind. Thank you Cornerstone Animal Hospital staff! You would be crazy to take your beloved pet, anywhere else. Scott is a awsome man of faith and skill.
