Terrific staff! They truly put the health and safety of pets first. We've taken our dog here for over 10 years and have always been totally satisfied with her care. When you get called by the office lady saying they have your deceased cats paw print ready but you paid for private cremation, everything they had to offer, and she makes out like she has no idea what youre talking about, then tries to cover her tracks by saying it just wasn't written down properly. This gives me no reassurance that I'll be seeing only my kittens ashes back. I hope she feels horrible about what she said to me. When he died they also showed no empathy or kindness, just wanted me to swipe my credit card. I will never be going back here and neither should any of you. Shame. It has been 10 years since I tried this facility. I took a cockatiel with a superficial wing tumor about 1 cm in diameter in to schedule it for removal. I waited over an hour for a 30 second evaluation to find out it would be at least 10 days before they could schedule the surgery. I don't remember the evaluation fee, but they would have to pay me to go back to that clinic. The place was packed and I did not come away with any confidence in their commitment to serve me. My bird died the day before they called to schedule. I have been bringing my pets to DAH for YEARS! They are always very nice and knowledgeable. The staff always makes sure to let me know when wait times are extended, so I always know how long to expect the visit to be. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. I'm going to be honest. The "you're stupid" attitude from one of the front desk attendants was the first black mark. the waiting 2 hours for a less than 5 minute meeting that cost 70$ was the rest. My cat is just young and pregnant and I only wanted know if everything was okay and if possible, how many kittens (200$ x rays). i knew i should have left the parking lot while waiting. i did feel pretty stupid after, thats for sure. never again. upon further consideration. They really treated my kitty with care, and gave us some peace of mind. they're good at their jobs. I just wish the prices could have been more reasonable.
