So my first experience here was great, the vet was nice and professional and always asked us first before giving our dog any kind of food which I assume was for her safety, made sense to me. So my wife and I decided to set our dog up with a care plan that we paid near $80 a month which would include shots and getting our dog fixed and all the blood work that was required. Well time came to get our dog fixed so we took her in to have blood drawn, they took her back and we could hear she wasn't happy, but getting blood drawn, I feel that is normal. Well on our way home I notice that my dog is soaking wet, and heavy panting, she began foaming from the mouth and making choking sounds. I pull over and she begins to throw up food that I haven't seen before which must have been given to her without our permission. Well a few days go by and we get a call saying that there may be an issue with her blood and that they had to re-test it. So we made an appointment to come back and I also made sure they knew not to feed my dog anything different without consulting us first. When we get there they try to give me a bill for the re-test of blood. A test that I had been paying for every month based on the bag of goods that I was sold. After I told them that I wasn't gonna pay for it, they went to the back and then came out and told us "it was ok" and we went back to have the blood re-drawn. My wife and I went back with our dog this time, and thank god we did because idk how these two techs could of held her still. She didn't get fed anything that made her sick and it felt like this place was gonna make good on their promises. That was until we were leaving and they told me we were going to be billed for the blood work I had denied when we got there. I told them I was not, and if they did not want to honor the care plan that they sold me, then we should part ways and cancel our membership. It hurts because we really liked our original Vet but whoever is managing this location and trying to scam people out of extra money, is making this place that you trust your pets too, look like a scandalous Auto Shop trying to take you for as much money as they can. I have heard great things about their other location on Boniface but I think my family will be going somewhere else entirely. Got in fast... all other veterinary clinics booked for days...even weeks. Pet was VERY ill....may not have lasted weeks without immediate care. Nice front desk staff, nice vet technician, nice, competent doctor. They were willing to work with my family and I about what services and treatments were priorities. Many things had to be done and finances were seferely limited. They worked with us without judgrnent. I was very happy with every aspect of the visit. Great service; was able to get us in quickly and take care of our dog. Friendly and helpful staff. Very happy with my veterinarians here! All my cats come here and receive top medical care. :-) I do have a good suggestion for people: Don't rely on the internet. It will let you down if you think something is wrong. Take your pet to the vet. It's the best solution. Our two dogs get extraordinary care here. From the reception staff, to the vet techs to the doctors, they all took the time to get to know us and our beloved pets.
