Very unimpressed. I called them yesterday morning as my wife and I recently rehomed a dog. Being responsible we wanted to have her looked at to make sure she did not have any issues or needs that the previous owner did not disclose. We wanted to have a skin rash looked at today or tomorrow and also wanted to discuss getting blood work and spay done at a later time. There response was they are not accepting new animals, and that they are "hit and miss" with availability. They recommend to "look at other vets in the area". We have been bringing our pets here for years. SSAH is courteous and cares about our pets. Wonderful caring staff and doctors. Highly recommend Charged about 85 bucks for a 35 dollar travel cert, but that is just how it is in AK. Doesn't mean they should though. Long waits buy at the end of the day they do a grate job the prices are high but that's the way it is right...
