Dr. Brightman is amazing. He truly cares about helping animals out. Especially those with eye issues. We were first referred to him when our hound developed glaucoma. He has been with us every step of the way and is always reachable for questions or concerns. Great staff as well. Dr Jen is an awesome Vet, always very honest and does an awesome job with all of my 6 Mals and receptionist David has always been very helpful and super nice as well I highly recommend!! Horrible experience. It appears that they just want to make there money off of their name brand prescriptions and make it very unnecessarily difficult/time consuming for you to order generic brands from outside pharmacies (reputable ones like Costco). I expected better when multiple friends referred me to this Alaskan owned clinic. I specifically looked for a locally owned clinic, when changing from VCA clinic, but I am truly disappointed... I would like to thank DR Jenn for the kindness and caring of my Buddy in his final hour. Buddy was 14 yrs old. She was very compassionate and caring. Thank you again so very much The veternary staff at highland is wonderful I've been taking my dogs there for over 10 years and never had a problem. The area has always been clean, the staff very friendly, and they really care about your dog's well being.
