We took the bus from Anchorage to Denali. And service was wonderful. Provided by Christine. She is very knowledgeable and considerate. Her driving skills are great. Bus was clean and neat. Coach had restroom inside, also has charging docks. And coach was comfortable for long journey. We would definitely recommend Christine and the park connection to friends and family. I recently finished a bike trip from Seward to Anchorage. To get to Seward in the first place, I took a 7am southbound Park Connection bus from Anchorage. The bus ride was ok, and our driver made sure to throw in bits and pieces of interesting information along the way. We took a break at Turningarm Pass, which I found a little unnecessary, especially because there are much more scenic spots along the way, at least in my opinion. If you are biking, please note that I was charged +$40 for my bike (my only luggage) in addition to the fare which itself was $55. I found the bike fee to be a little too steep. I later discovered cheaper bus alternatives with lower fees for bikes etc. but at that point their hours did not work with my planned schedule anymore. Something to keep in mind early in planning if you are planning to take your bike on the bus. Unnecessary stops at tourist shops. The ride from Whittier cruise port to Anchorage was included in our fare, but I didnt take the bus ride for shopping, but to get to my destination to continue my trip. If you book with them, add an extra hour for what I'm sure are commission stops for the company.
