Worked with Happy and Filo on 15 February to pack up my house and ship to Maryland. The guys were very respectful and efficient. The process took about 5 hours, and they did everything perfectly as far as paperwork, packing, handling, and making sure all of my items were marked accordingly. It was an easy and stress free process, and Happy and Filo made my move a lot more enjoyable and relaxing. I know my stuff was safe in their hands and I would recommend continental to anyone moving cross country. Thank you for everything! AVOID THIS COMPANY Let me start off by saying this company is unprofessional and ran very poorly. First of all, their employees have absolutely no respect for people’s possessions, are constantly tossing fragile marked boxes, and have a total lack of courteousness. One of the crew members was very unbecoming, rude, and didn't place items as directed. He was constantly complaining about our items and how much he wanted to quit his job. At one point, he was swearing at our items in front of my wife. On several occasions, we saw him rough-handling our items marked fragile and had to tell him to be careful. He even made a snide comment that we should have helped him move our boxes and king mattress into the house! While unloading our items we had to constantly chase after them to get the numbers off boxes for our checklist. It was an unorganized, chaotic mess. Also, we had designated one room to be a den and another to be a fitness room. I told both several times which room was to be which. Without trying to put the furniture where we wanted, they insisted the furniture wouldn't fit into the designated rooms and reversed our configuration. FYI, the furniture fit just fine the way we wanted it; my wife and I later moved all the furniture and equipment back to the original rooms to include 2 couches, an entertainment center, a 220+ lb. treadmill, and several boxes. By the end of the job, they were just placing boxes as near to the entry as possible without regard to room labeling. We found our master bedroom linens box (marked as such) out in the garage! The office staff is another issue in itself. When I made a debris pickup appointment I was told an entire days timeframe (8-5) that they could show up, but I would be called in advance. When 3 pm came around I had not heard anything and called to verify I was still on the books. I was told yes and they should be there any time. Then 5 pm came and went with no crew so I called a second time. I was told they were on their way, with no advance phone call like I was told. It was 5:45 pm before anyone even showed up. I waited an entire day for nothing and no apologies. I could go on with more unacceptable attitude, but the bottom line is do not use this company.
