Definitely have some live crowd. They have plenty of events that happens almost daily and definitely weekly. The main bar (by the stage) is slow and some of the bartenders are snobs. The mid bar by the main entrance is quick. The Latin girl that works behind that bar is amazing. As well as the dude. Both of them are quick and friendly. Really average food and service. Got the Kobi burger ($19) and asked for medium rare. Got something past medium. Had the coconut chicken curry as the side. The curry had a nice flavor but the chicken was dry and tough. Sorry we passed up Club Paris. Will not go back. Seems like a cool place. The server was great. However.... I ordered an appetizer and main course (a veggie sandwich). I got my main course after 40 minutes. Food was okay, but wouldn't say good. I figured they forgot about my appetizer. Nope. It showed up an hour after I ordered it. Drinks were pricey. I figured they'd knock a couple bucks off for the wait and the appetizer coming after the main course but I was wrong. Ended up being a 40 dollar bill for an average sandwich, appetizer, and two drinks. Not impressed. But again, the server did his job and was friendly, hence, two stars. I am yet to have a positive experience at this establishment, day or night, upstairs or downstairs. The food is way over priced for the portions and flavor you're getting, the venue has poor sound quality, and the events are often overpriced. The upstairs speakeasy has good atmosphere but was ludicrously overpriced. I am never excited to visit this place, unfortunately it is one of the few venues bringing up certain kinds of acts that you can't see elsewhere. I will occasionally, reluctantly visit if there is a band playing that I particularly enjoy, but the atmosphere and sound quality always detracts from the experience. The two stars are for venue programming alone, with nearly everything else being a downside. Pretty sure they pay people for good reviews..Horrible food! Stop making food Williwaw!! It is so bad. Also all the servers downstairs hate you. Its almost as if everyone working there wants to get into a b** fight.. Maybe start hiring locals? Stop hiring all the out-of-state summer kids that don't give a ***. I try to never go here due to the food being so bad you spit it back out. I've given Williwaw 3 tries, and now I won't go back. Fix your rude staff, fix your *** food, fix your audio problems for music.
