I went through the drive-through. To be honest, I'm in Juneau for a year and I miss Wendy's. It's not even like I really eat much fast food, but the fact that it's unavailable in Juneau makes me miss it. So when I'm in Anchorage, I always go to Wendy's once. To be honest, they really couldn't do anything to disatisfy me. But also, the woman who took my order sang to me. I love this place. A few months ago I posted a psychotic rant about how bad this location was. Well I'd say they turned it around 110%. Was in the drive thru less than 45 seconds no exaggeration. Awesome for someone with a tight schedule. Thanks to the crew working on 11/21/17 at 1:00pm! I ordered a single hamburger with lettuce, tomato and onion, with medium fries and a soda. The "combo" price was just under $9.00. This was my second visit to an Anchorage Wendy's this year. Same exact problems. Won't make this mistake a third time! There must be a shortage of fresh vegetables out there! One tiny leaf of limp lettuce that didn't even cover the hamburger! And, one onion ring . . . not a whole slice but one ring! And, the tomato was sliced almost paper thin, barely two inches in diameter and with a discolored pulpy consistency. Not sure how these folks can serve this stuff with a straight face! And, how come they don't have hamburgers on the menu priced without cheese . . . which would normally be fifty cents to a dollar cheaper? All hamburgers are priced with cheese. They asked me if I wanted cheese and I said no. But, same price! I got gypped again. Recent remodeling of their restaurants was a waste of time and money. That isn't the problem. Food quantity and quality matter! Customer service matters! Wendy's needs to give it up. They lost their mojo after founder Dave Thomas died. He's got to be rolling over in his grave. I give up . . . I'm out of here. Faster than the Tudor location but sometimes still takes AGES compared to an average Wendy's vist (on a day that it isn't too busy). But for Christ's sake I can almost never convince them to not give me napkins. I ask over and over and they say "okay" but they still give me napkins. I understand it's habit but Jesus I don't want napkins! I feel guilty enough about the amount of trash I'm getting when buying fast food. I don't know why it's so hard to not get napkins. Also, today we tasted mold in a handful of our fries today. How does that happen?? So frustrating. Not bad when staff can pull there heads outa there @§§ an get your order correct.
