Love the spaghetti with clamp sauce & the kalamarakia appetizer. Also live Mama, she's amazing - always checking your table, to make sure everyone is happy & well fed. Small, local, awesome place! Fantastic Pizza. Great Greek food. Good atmosphere, great service from family run business Mrs Maroudas is like a grandma to me, so warm and loving. Even if the food was awful, I would go back to see her, but it's not it's great, I've owned a pizza restaurant and know good pizza, it's the best in town. The ambiance is like a little Italian restaurant, they even put a patio in the back. It's centrally located in Midtown if you love pizza don't miss out on this one and say hi to my grandma for me when you go in. We live three hours away and go to Anchorage about 10 times per year. After giving up trying to get in to the Moose's Tooth for the hundredth time, we stumbled upon Pizza Olympia and had the best meal we've had in too long to remember. It's a family run establishment with authentic food and a cozy interior. From the outside driving by, I always thought the place looked closed down. Little did I know there is a back parking lot that is packed. Why on earth someone would wait for 2 hours to eat at Moose's Tooth when this place is down the street, I'll never understand. One man in the Moose's Tooth parking lot actually bought pizzas to go and was tailgating with his wife and four kids eating the pizza out of their boxes while standing, I guess because he didn't want to wait 2 hours for a table on a Tuesday night at 7pm. For a quiet, authentic, charming experience go to Pizza Olympia instead. Long time Spenard favorite- best salad ever! And more!
