The food was fantastic! I had their mixed grill and it was a bit of everything. I think the lamb was my favorite. It was HUGE and served with two sauces, one tomato based the other was a curry base. The garlic naan was FANTASTIC! On the down side, service was a bit slow and we had to share a table as a couple... at 5:30pm. Not exactly what I had in mind, and I'm simply not in to that "community table" thing, so it was a turnoff for me. I even called to make a reservation and they told me "no problem at 5:30, no reservation needed". Oh well, the food was great though! I love their chicken-it is really lean! You don't ever bite into chunks of fat. I only gave 4 star not 5 because almost all of their food has onion in it. If you are allergic to onion, there is literally only one dish on the menu you can order because all of their sauces are premade. Delicious! Tasty, fresh, Himalayan cuisine. Broad selection. Place smells so good! Friendly, efficient service. They gladly accommodated our family of 10. We shared all of our dishes, and they helped with the plate situation. Food was so good! This was our third time, and we will be back again for sure! This is a very homely little spot with great Indian food and excellent service. The Tika Masala is my favorite, but their other dishes won't disappoint either. I love getting the garlic naan and their chai helps when it is cold outside. For such good meals and good portions, it is also easy on the wallet. Definitely one of the better places to be at for good Indian food in Anchorage. Just make sure if you like your food spicy to be specific. I asked for medium spicy and it wasn't that hot really. Maybe they worry I can't handle it?
