Very disappointed. My wife and I took a trip of a lifetime to Alaska, to experience the panoramic views of the wilderness, the wild animals, and to taste the food. Alaska is well known for its fresh, delicious seafood, so we went to Fletchers. The salmon was dreadful. The salmon was not fresh, very dry, and will no seasoning. It looked naked on the plate....no sauce, garnish, bed of rice, or salsa to enhance the flavor. The tomato was hard, pale, with no flavor. The asparagus was cooked to perfection however. The presentation and flavor might be expected at a local bar, but not at the Captain Cook Hotel. Your chef should go back to school and put some passion into your menu. Terrible service. No host acknowledged us even though several staff saw us waiting. Very poor service for a restaurant in the classiest hotel in Anchorage. We had a very excellent waitress and the food was very tasty. The waitress was very helpful in assisting my wife with her dietary restrictions Amazing food I love the pizza and the drinks are amazing the staff are great and friendly Food was very good and the service was very good also.
