Good variety of eats, lot of fresh items salads, soups, sandwiches and individual pizzas. I've been here several times and always been pleased. The one exception was 2 weeks ago. A group of 5 had brunch. One person ordered waffles and bacon; they came burned! Server asked if they were too dark. I replied they were burned, not dark and I was shocked the kitchen would send them to the table. New waffles came and they were good. However, bacon wasn't burned, but more than crisp. I will say it was a busy morning. But I'd rather wait a bit and get properly cooked food. Friendly service always. Great consistent place to come for an afternoon, dinner or to watch a game. On sunny days the outside patio is pleasantly surrounded by thick hedges so the road noise while there is lessened. We have never had bad service and come often. Lots of space and always pretty well staffed regardless. Many of the same employees have been here since the beginning. Love that they are in South Anchorage. Love the drinks! Local Mary is great... perfect amount of heat! Beer pretzel is my favorite! It's really loud here. I mean I seriously couldn't hear the person next me! The food was good, and the service was decent, but don't go if you're planning of having a conversation. Good food, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. You will enjoy your meal.
