We have always had a great experience here. The ER staff was awesome in attending to my daughter who needed stitches as well as the sicknesses we went to the ER for on weekends. Their Teddy watch is always very nice and my kids love going there for an hour if I have an appointment. The lab doesn't usually have too long of a wait and they are all nice and good at their job. Physical therapy and women's health have always went above and beyond. Definitely feel comfortable coming here! Giving only 3 instead of 5 because of Radiology front desk. All the other offices are great and have amazing service. I have to say radiology has some crusty people working their front desk. Hardly answer the phone. Almost never call back after a message has been left multiple times, and the one time I did get a call back the man was rude and short tempered. He had a bad connection and was frustrated with me for needing to repeat himself and eventually hung up on me. I could hear the phone slam down on the receiver. In person they are just as nasty. Reluctant to make appointments and treat you like you're an idiot when you ask them questions. The technicians were nice and accommodating. They are excluded from the front desk experience. The Air force staff is nice but when it took 4 people to find a vein for a blood draw, really not fun. Overall the hospital has great service. I have been to this hospital more times in a year and half than most in a lifetime. Not once did I have a bad experience. Staff has always been professional and caring. I have felt they have always had my best interest in hand. Had as several surgeries while up there. 3 could have been avoided had the Surgeons been competent to begin with. You send my to a G.I. specialist who does a colonoscopy and can't figure out what's wrong, but one quick examination by aoutsode civilian P.A. Dx'ed a double unilateral inguinal hernia. Strike one. Then you had to go back in to remove nerves becuase you left to much in and it get rubbing on the mesh, creating just as much pain as pre-Ok. Strike 2. Strike 3 is the major one for me. I had a S.L.A.P and labral tear in my shoulder. Get it worked on. Less then one week post-op, I slip on the the and fall on the affected shoulder. I felt the stiches tear tear. When I called your ortho-clinic, inwa s told the soonest I could be seen was in 30 days. That told me it wasn't important enough to warrant further treatment since your schedulers didn't seem to care one way or a other and refused to allow me to see the next available ortho. NOW my shoulder isnwprse than before and I have to have itnoperated on, again, out of my own pocket becuase your staff can't keep up with the medical needs of the mimita ry family community. I'm so glad we are done, out and gone from your base. This is just the tip of the ice berg with the experiences I've had with you medical staff, most of them incompetent. Like the E.R. doc t hst argued with me over a text book case of thrush, gave me oral steroids and almost killed me. Went back to the civilian P.A., get the right anti-fungal medication and, boom! Clears right up. Or your psychologists that like to cancel appts and never tell you. Or the P.A. that treated my E.R. visit with a g put flare up and basically called me a pill seeker to my face. (I WAS A COP AT THE TIME!). I'm glad I'll never have to step foot inside of it again. Your hospital is a joke. When a former Army medic knows more than the actual Doctor......somethings really wrong with that picture. I'm just so glad I'm free to finally tell you all how much you suc
