Dr. Eastman is absolutely wonderful! I have worked in Dermatology for many years and was looking for a Dermatologist since my move to Anchorage last year. I highly recommend her and have referred several people to her. They are usually professional but have made a few big mistakes when treating me and my family that mean I will not be going back. Dr. Hansen prescribed a medication that turned out to be $700 dollars which he did not warn me about. I also once was prescribed a medication that it specifically said in my chart I couldn’t take due to another medication. Mistakes like these don’t make me very confident about using them for my medical care. From scheduling my appointment a day in the past, to keeping me waiting for 2 hours, to getting all of 5 minutes in-front of a doctor. Who then in turn referred me to another doctor, and split me a bill to the tune of $200, this firm and businesses like it is what gives medicine a bad name. Just needed refills for a medication that they already were supposed to prescribe for a year after my visit there. People answering the phone act like its an inconvenience to them to do the thing they were supposed to in the first place. Called twice and the same rude service and tell me "they don't know if they will get to it today, they are busy." This is medication for someone and I can't believe they are so nonchalant and rude about how they forgot to write the refills twice. Definately will not go back Went in with the worst sore throat ever. Got my blood tested, strep test as well. They gave me some antibiotics and the doctor said they had no idea what it was. Did not send test to Seattle even when coming back negative for steep. 2 weeks later my throat pain has come back, and they refuse to write a prescription for my throat. Clearly the bacteria was not eliminated. Need to find a new clinic and Doctor badly.
