I need to stop shopping here because they honestly have such good deals! Best place to buy beer/wine/liquor. Great selection of natural/organic produce and products. Wonderful prices too. Membership runs around $50 a year I believe. If you do enough shopping though (buying for 2 or more**) it's completely worth it! While we aren't quite to the point of getting a law degree at Costco, it seems you can get everything else there. From quality whiskey to potatoes by the pallet load they have a wide variety. You can even get a new heating system for your house. They also have the best to return policy on appliances of any store anywhere. But you already knew this, because hey who doesn't go to Costco? I've been in Costco big box stores from HI to CO, across US West. The stores are basically the same except for local specialties, ie Hatch Chillies in CO, Copper River Salmon in AK. Staff always pleasant and helpful. Has what I'm looking for 98% of the time. I do check produce, however. Long shipping times to AK can cause items, strawberries, grapes, asparagus, to parish soon after buying. In HI or CA, CO where produce is local there is no problem. Return polices are super. Never a problem bringing an item back. Prices are fantastic! I'm a Costco fan wherever I am! Parking lot is the god damn Wild West. Poorly designed for their volume of customers, people parking wherever they have deemed a parking spot. Inside though, that Samuel Peters is KILLING it. He delivers the best customer service I've ever seen. Whatever they're paying him, they are doing him an extreme disservice, give him a raise. Also, there is a handsome bastard that works the membership counter; Tim, Tom, Ted or something to that effect, I can't remember. Friendly and helpful, 10/10 would sign up again. My travels around the nation has always been to hit a Costco in the local City (face it Costco is fun and great). The one in Dimond of Anchorage, the staff can definitely work on their customer service skills. 3 stars because they have the products/items/groceries, if they didnt have them, I would give them 2 stars.
