I had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience! The receptionist was great and the other ladies were so friendly. The gal that did my hair was Morgan H. and she was the best! She really went above and beyond for me. Normally I get very nervous and have a hard time explaining what I want, but she actually talked to me about that I wanted, what style would better suit me, and the different methods of obtaining that style. I love that she explained how she would cut my hair BEFORE she made any cuts and talked with me throughout the entire process. At one point she even had to go grab a stool because my hair is so long :P Will DEFINITELY be back! Got her card so I can be sure to see her again :D Never going back! Took my son a little over a month ago to get the top of his hair dyed. No problem, stylist charged $30. His hair is short. Typical boys haircut. Today we went back to do the exact same thing. However, we added a haircut too. Easy, boys haircut. She used the clippers then she dyed it. Charged us $118! Was that a $90 haircut? Wth? And why did I also observe a stylist trying to straighten a black girls new growth with the blow dryer and another using the hot iron on a white girls straight hair? I can't! Sad because everywhere I've lived from Hawaii to Florida Regis was the only ones I trusted with my hair. I'm done! One of the worst salon experiences I've ever had, the receptionists were very rude and super unfriendly, the work environment is very unprofessional. The woman who cut my hair spent about 5 mins cutting it and it costs me $35 for it. Will not be going back ever again. Don't recommend this salon. Every time I have been to a Regis the workers haven't been too bad but I would defiantly not consider them friendly. The end product has also never been what I wanted it to be. I would suggest going to Hi Rollers salon in Anchorage instead! Wonderful service, price and great outcomes! So quick and easy
