After my pedicure I was seated at area to let my toe polish dry. I was there less than 10 mins when I was tapped on my shoulder and asked "are you done?" I said I don't know, am I? They were wanting to sit someone else down and I felt rushed out of there. The worse part, the polish was not completely dry and stuck to my socks. What a waste of money. Not relaxing at all. Do not recommend. Staff was fairly friendly and the most positive aspect of this business. The salon is not very well aerated so fumes and chemical smell are quite strong. Pedicurist was very aggressive and actually cut the side of my big toe. I'm still having pain and redness two days later. If I hadn't applied neosporin it might've become infected. Danny did a great job on my french tip shellac manicure and was very nice. I will be going back to this salon in the future. In April, I recently had my nails done for the very first time, I decided to go to the Fifth Avenue mall so I can get a haircut as well. I went to Liz nails, and it was a very bad first experience. I asked for coffin shaped nails with the gel polish, the color is blotchy and the shape of my nails are terrible. I've had compliments on my nails because I've never had fake nails before so of course I look a little more feminine with long pink nails, but once they look closely they agree with the mistakes that are obvious. I didn't notice before I left the salon because it had taken an hour so I was in a rush to get to an appointment. The nails were not shaped smooth enough, it looks like I have Prego nails. Not one single nail is the shape I wanted and none of them match each other. My index finger nail is wider than the other one, and my thumb nails look big and square, not even shaped correctly. I've had them for a few days and someone already asked me if I needed a fill; because my cuticles are already showing. I paid $60 and tipped as well, that was before I got home and really got a good look at my nails and noticed everything was just completely wrong about them. The technicians name was David, although he was nice I expected to leave the nail salon very happy for my first experience instead of waiting for my next paycheck to go somewhere else and have them fixed. There have been good reviews online about pedicures and manicures but just be careful if you plan to get acrylics . Love the pedicure products. Makes my legs and feet feel amazing. The staff is awesome! Ask for David! My only complaint is it's a bit pricey, but worth it for a treat!
