Concerning the Duben Ave makeover: Very well done! I have been a resident of Duben Ave (West side of the hill between Muldoon and Oklahoma) for 15 years, and a pedestrian for 8. The results of the work, where completed, are beautiful! Your hard work makes walking over that hill as much of a pleasure as possible. I commend your crew for their courtesy, and their attention to detail for always making it safe for pedestrians, and vehicles alike. The extra effort detailing to residents where and when side streets and driveways would be impassable was greatly appreciated. Kudos to all. These guys seriously failed in the planning and execution department today (September 12th, 2013)! The intersection of Seldon and Seward Meridian is a primary entrance for two LARGE schools. They had it nearly shut down during the afterschool pickup rush!!!! Seriously, dumb move! If they had done this job at night it would have affected 95% less people. This was a major debacle! You guys really need to have better planning checklist. If you don't have one, feel free to contact me. I am more than willing to give you a few suggestions to consider before you start work. This incident SHOULD HAVE BEEN a no brainer to get right. Sadly it appears that it was a NO BRAIN present in the planning!
