Food and service was out standing. Had a awesome time, recommended to anyone. The only thing is the drinks are a little high. Other than that a splendid way to spend the night. Sullivan's was a great choice in a steakhouse while in town. Great cut of meat with potatoes and a nice red alert and it was a great evening. Ambiance blended with a nice jazz organ music set. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Prices are typically of a downtown restaurant. Overall, great eatin' spot while being from out of town. We were there for a dinner presentation 're Genentech in one of your very small rooms; the service , food n professional serving staff was exemplary. Attempting to serve between 2 long tables n tight quarters was a challenge. All done very well. This place serves awesome steaks. I wouldn't look any further if you want a steak. They are a little on the pricey side, but the quality is worth paying for. You can choose from bar or restaurant seating. The bar has a separate and cheaper bar snack menu available. Service is top notch and live music on certain nights. We wandered into this restaurant thinking it was a casual eatery. We were surprised by how upscale this place is. We felt very under dressed and thought we wouldn't be treated nicely, but again we were surprised, pleasantly. The food was delicious, albeit pricey. To this day, this is the most upscale place I've ever eaten in.
