Best dim sum in anchorage! Love this place. Great service. This plave is soooo delicious! The cakes aren't too sweet and the food isn't bad. I love it! Charlie's is a family run business, and they are welcoming. The food is good, consistent and they have unbelievable bake goods and cakes. If you want a birthday cake to impress family, friends or coworkers, go to Charlie's. One of the better Chinese food places in town. I have tried Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao (called Kung Dao or something like that here) Chicken, and both were very good, the Kung Pao being probably the best I have had in Anchorage since The Dynasty closed down years ago. The bakery stuff looks great. I will have to try that next. Super fast turn-around, food stays hot all the way home, not much ambiance but who cares? Great Chinese baked goods, their "entree" foods are not bad, but for the price. its quick and cheap.
