Went here as a kid and hated every single moment. Black gangs roaming the halls and nothing done about it because of their parents are teachers. Fat samoans shoving little white kids into lockers. Anyone with the slightest sign of a learning disability is auto-thrown into special ed, when they perfectly fine. The only good times were shop class and science with Mr Joe. That guy can teach. The rest of the faculty is a joke. I have never had sick rude people on the phone or in person as I have with West High. They do not seem to care about the students nor the parents. I only have my son there for one class and it is awful to have to deal with this school. If it wasn’t for the teacher I would not have him there for any. I cannot wait until we do not have to deal with public schools in Anchorage anymore. Always great theatre performances as well as choir and band Class of 09 loved this school GO EAGLES
