Physical therapy... really? Done physical therapy before and still need a surgery for the SAME injury. Doctor didn't even talk for less than 2 minutes before he was out the door Dr. Thomas is amazing with my 4yr old son who is treated for bi-lateral clubfoot. We come up from Kenai, so they work with our days and times for easier traveling. The front desk ladies are short and rude and the 20mph wind from the broken air system in the front isn't great either and hasn't been addressed in the 2yrs we've been going to this office. However, we've never had a long wait and Dr.Thomas entire staff is amazing, friendly, and value us! I would do this drive over ever letting the local orthopedic doctors in Kenai touch my son! Very hard to reach. Not open when they say on their answering machine. Trying to seek follow up care is not easy. PA and nurses are great, once you can get to them. This has been my best ortho experience I have ever had and the staff is absolutely fabulous. The environment is welcoming and very professional. This is a place I would love to work at and be a part of. Talented physicians, incompetent staff. They do not return phone calls and lie. There is no personal level of care given. AFOC is too large, and you are nothing but a walking insurance policy for them to over bill. The facilities are nice but poorly maintained. They have a broken HVAC system that blows 20mph winds through out the facility and no one cares. This place is the Walmart of broken bones.... They may have what you need, but don't expect anything special. i would not recommend this place to anyone.
