11/21/2017 1:15 pm—-Horrible customer service! At the easy park office at B st. Garage, after being told to go there Therese don’t know good customer service! Problem: J.C. Penney sky bridge easy park machine malfunction, put my parking ticket into machine, Said pay $2.50, which I did via my credit card. The machine gave my my credit card back but kept my parking ticket. NO RECEIPT printed, I pushed the help button on machine and told them what happened. My credit card alerted “Easy Park Employee ROD” came opened up machine and gave me the ticket and told me to put it Back into machine and rerun credit card. Now another charge ( credit card alerted me to the charge) but got parking ticket back this time however, no receipt. So with him there he gave me the number to call the office. I asked for customer service and THERESA answered, told him the employee was there and she in a rather perturbed voice- what Man is there, I replied ROD your easy park employee. He took the phone and then I was told to go to the B street garage office. Went to the B Street office asked to speak to Theresa told she was not there !! Said we just spoke to her and was told to come here with the photo of parking ticket and credit card info. Showed her photo of my parking ticket and credit card alerts. She did not care! It was an OH Well attitude. Asked again to show Theresa my photos as documentation come to find out: Here is the KICKER——She was Theresa! Said you might get your refund maybe not, Easy Park if a customer calls then goes to the effort to go from one garage to another to speak to someone they just spoke to, maybe a good customer service would help! And I guess Easy Park wants to keep my customers money This is THEFT! So as you can see not happy, Your employee ROD had good customer service, he tried to help by referring me to the main office and speaking to Theresa Theresa you should not work with the public! Perhaps cans of green beans Easily one of the worst parking garages in Anchorage. The stairways smell and have fresh urin on the ground. The machines are so hard to use in the garage that their is always a 15 minute line to get out. You would assume that a private parking company with meters on public roads would maintain their private garages, but no. They didn't post that the meter I was using was broken. Half way into feeding the meter, it stops crediting the amount I put in. I tried to call the number on the meter to report the issue and no answer. So, I went ahead and left in a hurry for a meeting. Came back and I got a ticket. I contested it and they reversed it only because others reported the same issue, but they didn't do anything to fix the meter or post a notice of the issue. EasyPark Alaska are crooks. Avoid Downtown and this unethical and unprofessional company. They will find any means to steal your money. Called the office to discuss a violation that was not for a vehicle I owned and the lady acted like I should know exactly what to do. I have never had an easy park parking ticket before and was calling to get clarity, but got attitude instead. I requested an email with procedures and violation number, but I never received it. Let's pretend there was an option for negative 3 stars and that is what shows on here instead of the one star I'm forced to hit in order to put a review. I am an employee for JCPenney and park in the JCPenney garage. I pay a monthly fee and have an access card. This morning I suspected that I may have come upon payment time and I might not get let in and would have to take a ticket. HOWEVER much to my happiness the little arm went up and off I go to work. I work my 9 hour shift and go to leave. My access card won't let me out. I hit the service button to speak with an attendant. This is where my problem arises. I have had TERRIBLE customer service with the attendants(the office people are always very pleasant though!) as have many of my fellow employees. When I push the service button Im already preparing for bad service....which is what I recieved immediately. He greets in a rough rude way and immediately tells me I had to have a ticket. After telling him( his name is Donovan by the way) again that I have a card he asks for the number. I give it to him and he tells me my card has no money and that I have to have a ticket. I tell him AGAIN that I have no ticket bc I got in with my access card this morning. He says that isn't possible. That is the moment in which I lose my composure, which is not a normal thing as I am a manager of retail and my life revolves around customer service and pleasantries in the face of rudeness, so I have practice. I am 8 months pregnant, just got done working my 9 hour shift on a busy Sunday and I want to go home and sleep bc I am the 8months pregnant, manager of retail, 9 hour shift kind of exhausted and here this guy is telling me that it is impossible for me to have entered without a ticket when I most assuredly did! Im not someone trying to skirt the system because I'm broke that day or lost my ticket it any of the other reasons I'm sure they have heard. I would not be sitting here arguing with Donovan if I had a ticket to even put in and pay to get out. So after repeating that I most certainly got In w a ticket he disappears. Go silent. I'm sitting there. Then I see another man walk out who I tell the situation to and he starts yelling! Like I don't understand. At this point my adrenaline is rushing so much and I'm so tired and so frustrated I dont even remember the details of conversation to tell you guys. He is yelling that no one is calling me a liar(my employee that I was giving a lift home to got frustrated as well and said "why would she lie?") and that I have to pay and the card couldn't have let me in. I'm saying over and over than I knew I had to pay and I would pay the issue is to let me out now as I am in the garage at the moment w no ticket to give you. SO my main frustration is the terrible attitudes and unhelpfulness I always seem to encounter. I have already addressed a separate concern with a manger before but never got around to the email she encouraged me to write about the rude gal from the last time I had a problem. I wish I had no so that there would be documentation. The problem is he repeatedly told me it was impossible for me to have gotten in. MAYBE the TIME plays a role in how the cards work? MAYBE my money didn't run out until 5pm today and I came in the garage at 10am. MAYBE the machine was on the fritz(as they often are which is a whole other problem) MAYBE it was an act of God! WHO KNOWS, but MAYBE you should not repeatedly tell someone that what they are telling you is impossible when it was in fact truth. Then have another person come out and not know how to maintain his own composure(bc you are the one at work at the moment and your behavior is indicative of the likelihood of maintaining said job) when you have an obviously flustered and frustrated customer. FOURTH time I've had an issue all of separate nature yet all obtaining the same terrible service. Something really needs to be done about the attendants attitude. I'm frustrated because I know that this isn't the last time I will have a problem. I'm frustrated because I know there is nothing I can do.
