Called and placed a delivery order. After almost 2 hours and no delivery I called back. Same person I spoke to before said he had no record of my order then says thanks, bye. Perfect. I was surprised they made no attempt to correct the mistake. Best to order delivery from another place probably. Food was great. I was served fast and asked if I wanted a drink. It’s nice and love the look inside. First time coming. Will be back. I LOVE their spicy breaded chicken/Mongolian beef & rice platter. If you're from northern AK it's just like Empress breaded pepper chicken without the sauce but it's the closest you will get to Empress breaded pepper chicken. I saw a picture and thought "oh that looks good!!" walked in having no clue the name of what I had previously ordered the manager quickly narrowed it down very quickly and very clearly knew what he was doing, very solution and business orienated. The only possible way this place could rates a 2.9 on Google is sheer bad luck. Seriously China Garden deserves a better rating. Give it a try. Date August 2017. Hey! My husband and I were looking for a late night meal and decided to give China Garden a try. I got the number one recommended Sesamy Chicken and he went for the Orange Chicken. Orange Chicken was great but the Sesamy Chicken was out of this world!!! We’ll be back for some more Sesamy Chicken in the near future. I really don't give out a lot of 5star reviews. I feel that 5star review requires everything to be better than I expected. This is my 3rd time dining here - 1st time was delivery, 2nd time was pickup to-go, and tonight's visit was dine in. All 3 times, the food has been really good, but dining in tonight, even at nearly 10pm, the food was EXCELLENT! The Mongolian beef was the most tender I've eaten, outside of L.A. The Walnut shrimp rivals Pagoda in North Pole. (And anyone that's eaten at Pagoda knows, that's saying ALOT!) The shrimp lomein was so flavorful... I was totally impressed. Our waitress SunMe was very friendly. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. I am truly boggled by the low Google rating. Maybe they're under new mgmt or new owners, who knows. What I do know is that I've definitely found my new favorite Chinese restaurant!
