!!!!!WARNING GRAPHIC!!!!My parents tried to rescue a pit bull from someone and at the same time my Mother(in her 60s) was watching my Brothers German shepherd. The dogs had been living there for 2 to 3 months and no problems.Something snapped in the pitbull and attacked the German Shepard. My mom was home alone and couldn't get the pit off the German Shepard. She called my brother and myself and we tried to get there as fast we could. My wife called animal control to get help. My brother arrived before me and had to beat the pitbull off his dog. My mother beat that pitbull for 20 mins with a steel folding chair trying to get her off of the other dog. She had to put down that night because her throat was ripped out and had spine damage. After the fight was broke up they got the pitbull in the laundry room. Blood every where, up the walls and down the hall. Seriously looks like murder scene and it was. Animal control calls back and said they were closing soon and since the pit was in the laundry room now they WERE NOT COMING. serous. So that pitbull soaked in my brother's dogs blood had to stay there until the next day because they were closing soon!!!! My mom will now be haunted for the rest of her life by this experience. She is seriously traumatized. Now nothing is going to bring Vox back but the only thing that would've of help deal with this very traumatic situation is if they could of came and picked up that pit that night. We couldn't even clean up the blood that was in there. The next day when we called again to have the pit removed the lady that came( officer grey) was very very rude and had no sympathy or compassion They said it wasn't a priority and said the situation was diffused. Are you kidding? Worst experience in our lifes thanks for nothing animal control. They are never around in the mornings to be able to put my dog to sleep. This is the third time I have tried this. This time though there was two people standing inside the building and of course they don't come over to see if they can help they just looked at me with stupid blank expression. Then when we had a stray cat problem they said we would be charged $75 for the cat trap WTH its not our cat we shouldn't have to pay that people are getting lazy and don't seem to care no more We have had nothing but professional service from the people here.At least the person I have dealt with seem to really care not only for the animals but the persons to whom the animals belong. I have paid my share of money that I would rather not but it is my responsibility. These savage assholes killed a poor girls dog for no reason. Apparently they killed the dog the day he was supposed to be picked up. The people here need to be fired, sued, and put in prison. I tried other places to adopt a dog. But there were too many people who wanted to adopt and I never got a dog. Until my wife saw the website of this place, there was an American Eskimo posted on their website. We adopted KURO and this was the best thing to our family. KURO was well checked, microchipped before we took him home. I am retired and KURO is with me all the time. KURO is a gift from God to me and my family. Thanks. If you want a dog, this is the place where you should go. But you have to act quickly to get one. We got KURO in a few hours after KURO was posted in their website. Jing from Anchorage.
