My kids lost insurance for an unknown reason, they claimed I make to much money when my income is the same. I reapplied months ago and have never heard back. It was confirmed I did apply. My children are desperate for medical care. I'm at my wits end. I don't know what to do. I'm stuck between being to poor and making too much?? Help. Please help. At least answer the phone and approve my application. We need mental and physical services. Please. Please please. I waited on hold for literally over an hour. I've never reached any one from this number. They need to have a call waiting time and number of callers in front of you update. Otherwise you pretty much can only assume they completely ignore all calls or their phone is in the basement or something. I've been waiting since august of 2016.... others have gotten approved or denied within 30 days already this year and its march 2017... all anyone can say is they're backed up and my application is in the backlog worse place ever they never answer the phone and they never know anythink you dont get the help. you need and never have answer to your question Ever since the State has merged all public assistance to this office things are insane! I have never, literally never, gotten a person to pick up the phone. I wait even up to 45/50 mins and have never gotten anyone. I have had to march down to their offices every time and when I talk to someone they have never been able to help me. They are soooo backed up that I have been waiting 4 months for my family's insurance and no one can even tell me what is going on. The only way I can get a human is to call the Capital and talk with someone at an office there.
