Aug 2017: My husband and I were in Anchorage visiting family, and we wanted to rent a mobility scooter. After scouring the web and making several calls, landed on Lake Otis Pharmacy. They rented us a little fold up scooter for the week. They showed us how to use it and sent us off. They were very helpful and having that scooter allowed my husband to enjoy more of Alaska than he otherwise would have. Thank you. Great service and friendly... would recommend to anyone No stars deserved. Not good at all. I can't recommend this place nor will I be returning. Joe is awful. Rude. I wanted to add a new one but right now I don't know how to do that so this will have to do. About our telephone conversation=Joe you can tell people how to feel & what kind of a review you want them to write but that doesn't mean they will do that. People can have their own feelings & opinions. They're allowed to as you are. They don't have to agree with you. You can say & do what you want. So can others. Part of running a business is dealing with the public who may or may not like you, what you do or how you do things. Sure you can refuse them service and write responses to their reviews on your business. That's up to you. It's your business. You can't judge a book by its cover either. You don't know people's medical history and don't need to know it unless they want to tell you. So you can't tell by looking at the outside of people what's going on inside. It's not for you to say whether or not they need a particular item. It's for their doctor to say and it's not for you to second guess the doctor because you don't have the training or the skills to do that. It's also not your business who's going to pay for the item as long as it's not you. The telephone conversation yesterday had some positive results. I await the results from Juzo. The stars given were from the first review so they won't change. When I can figure out how to add another review then I can redo the stars. I would drive across town no problem if I needed anything. The owner is very nice and gives discounts to KWHL listeners if you mention it. I got what I needed, and the owner just gave my pregnant gf a pain relieving seat cushion for free! These guys are awesome!
