Have gone to do an oil change 3 times in the past. Here's what happened. 1st time: Cost between $19-24. Service reps were a bit confused on confirming the price since I showed them the online coupon. Waited 40mins Requested regular oil change. Did not pull vehicle into garage. November 2016 2nd time: Went in around 9am. Requested synthetic blend oil change. Price $35.00 Told pull the car into garage and leave it running. Waited almost two hours. Asked if my vehicle was ready several times to be responded with there is a line for service and slight annoyed rudeness. Had work order promising me 40mins. By the time it was done, almost 11am. Went to vehicle after paying. Found grease finger prints on my hood, on my door panel and handle, my radio had been tinkered with. My drivers seat was completely leaned back and out of my setting. Steering wheel greasy. Interior smelled burnt.I thought to check my dipstick, looked a bit low, ended up being 1/2 of a quart and not full. More cars were showing up to Sears and service reps disappeared when I went to complain. July 2017 3rd time: 10/4/17. Decided to try one last time on good faith and went in, wanted to get a full synthetic. Quoted 49.99. Waited 2 hours. Told to drive vehicle into garage. Told 5 people ahead. Work order said 55mins. Also asked about power steering pump. Car was ready, service rep couldn't tell me more info about the pump. Two different technicians looked at car, tech who did the oil change was at service desk with frustration. Paid bill, checked oil on dipstick and again was low. Different Service rep came out named Jose. I had to explain to him 5 times challenging me by starting vehicle, checked dipstick 5 times and show another technician oil was 1/2qt low. Technician came back with dirty oil container with oil. Filled up to full mark. I wonder now if I got a synthetic oil change. Filter looked new. In conclusion, if you want to wait and wonder if your going to get a fast service, all the product you requested, and decent price. Sears clean up your act or loose more business because you lost mine. Came in with a bad battery still under warranty, should have been a simple exchange. Stood in line for over an hour while surly and rude salespeople stared at their computer screens and offered no explanation or apology for the wait. It was like everyone in line was invisible. Once this replacement battery is dead I will get a new one somewhere else. Sears Auto is dead to me. Please don't go this shop, they will messed up your car! 2 months ago , I changed my car tires over there and after 4 weeks front tire started to noise. Last week I was driving on Gambell street and tire broke mid of the street and came out. These guys don't care about people car and life, they just charge money. And I took there they were acting like this is my fault not theirs. Really worst shop and worst customer service in Anchorage. Maybe their prices is little bit cheaper than some other places but their jobs are terrible!!! Please don't go there. Dropped of my car and return with a brokem chrome on my hood. Reported saying that item was already broken before opening but was impossible because i checked the hood before the appointment. Just took my car and went. Never comimg back. Advise not to visit Do they ever answer their phone? The answer is no.
