I took my car in yesterday because it had started to shake when I accelerated between 45-60 MPH. The shaking had been getting worse but I was still trying to avoid taking it in to the shop because I KNEW it was going to cost an arm and a leg to repair whatever was wrong. Long story short, my car had all kinds of problems with it (bad axle, bushings, bearings, along with an electrical issue). To my surprise, the cost was LOWER than what I was finding online ($800 dollars for everything to be replaced) and they knocked out all of the work in ONE DAY! Al was super laid back and worked with me on the final bill amount. I have officially found my car's new doctor. Thanks Muldoon Auto. Sidenote: I USED TO go to Alaska Sales and Service on 5th ave and they are absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I took my car in for a simple recall fix and they took 4 ENTIRE DAYS and they didn't even change my oil as I requested. I think they have gotten a little too big for their own britches at A.S.S. (a very fitting acronym to describe the quality of service you get there). You will just be one of the thousands of customers that they ignore. Unless you have unlimited time to wait and deep pockets, I would choose Muldoon Auto ANY DAY over most of these local shops. Just my two cents... Drive safe, Winter is here.... Super nice people. Always been truthful and have owned up to the mistakes they've made when it happened (nobody is perfect) and didn't yank me around when it came to correcting those mistakes like some shops have. My entire family (3 generations) goes to Paul & Al down there and I don't plan on going anywhere else for my vehicle repairs & diagnostics. Keep up the good work guys! I'll be back soon I'm sure.
